Chocolate lovers can now rejoice! Saturday evening saw Chennai celebrate World Chocolate Day in a fitting manner - with the launch of Oriental Cuisines Private Limited’s, Le Chocolatier; the first of its kind chocolate lounge in Chennai. Set in a cosy corner at Harrington Road, the lounge will cater to every chocolate lover’s fantasy. “Le Chocolatier has something for everybody. We want people to treat chocolate as more than a mere gifting option. We want to give Chennaiites new ways to indulge,” says M Mahadevan, Chairman, Oriental Cuisines. The lounge has white, dark and regular chocolates and also houses three collections — the French Collection, the Singapore Collection and the Le Chocolatier Collection, each of them crafted to perfection.
Actor Sarath Kumar, who inaugurated the store, was seen encouraging those present to try out the delicious treats. He said, “I am not much of a chocolate person. However, the chocolate here is amazing. The one I tasted, had a vanilla filling inside. It left this great aftertaste.”
So be it a chocolate snowman or regular heartshaped chocolates, head out to Le Chocolatier for a completely sinful experience.
